Willpower Is A Good Pathfinder – Choose Your Own Path

Willpower is a good pathfinder - Choose your own path

Before we embark on our road, are we the way. The compendium of all our values, our efforts, our goals and our dreams. If there is a tree to be planted, we plant it. If there is an error to correct, we will fix it. And if there is something that needs to be done, we do it. Free will is what separates the stone from the road.  Willpower is difficult to maintain, but if we had more of it, we would almost always have the means to achieve what we want.

Hermann Hesse (German author, poet, short story writer and painter) said that when someone really needs something, they will find it. When they get it, it’s not because of luck – it’s their willpower. Their own desires and needs drove them towards it. In other words, even though it may be difficult, we can achieve everything we can imagine. Perseverance gives everything a purpose.

To believe is our second power, to want is our first. The famous mountains that are moved by faith are nothing compared to what willpower can do. We do not realize how much we are capable of until we think it through, try and make it happen with willpower.

Choosing your own path

No one lacks the strength they need, but perseverance can be harder to muster. The biggest challenges shrink as soon as you can muster enough willpower. Any path becomes easy to walk when there is enough will. It is as Rudyard Kipling said: “If you give a man more than he can handle, he will find a way. If you just give him what he can handle, he will not. ”

We are barely half awake. We use only a small part of the physical and psychological resources we have. It is the same with our determination. We are better at hiding than at looking ahead, dealing with our problems, and looking for solutions. We quickly forget that as soon as we believe in ourselves, we will discover how to live life to the fullest.

Being authentic in a world that is constantly trying to transform us into something other than who we are is a serious challenge. The paths we choose reflect our decisions. Do we want to end up sweeping our dreams under a rug and accepting it? In that case, we should stick to the well-trodden paths. But if we prefer to draw outside the lines, take a path that does not exist, we can be ourselves in a world we have created ourselves.

Willpower is the strongest driving force

Willpower is the impulse that will bring our desires to fulfillment. Someone with strong willpower makes their decisions matter, even when faced with all kinds of difficulties and opposition. However, someone with weak willpower will easily give up when they face adversity and problems.

Willpower is linked to desire. If we do not have enough desire, the willpower we use to try to achieve it will be too weak. On the other hand, if the desire is great enough and we want it to happen, then we will certainly continue until we have achieved our goal.

As we have seen, it is not enough to want something. You need the willpower to move mountains, to push yourself forward, and to plant the seeds of self-confidence.
